Trash to treasure signs!

One of the best things about the Becoming Conference was meeting this sweet lady.  This is Kim and she drove alllll the way from Maryland to Asheville for the Becoming Conference!  I was so happy to chat with her and meet her in real life instead of through comments and email.  She brought me a little gift too!  I would love to say that words of affirmation or acts of service are my love language, but actually it’s straight up gift giving.  I love me some gifts!!!  Remember when I couldn’t find any sticky letters anywhere and asked for your help!?!?!  Look what Kim surprised me with……….

Sticky letters in THREE sizes!!!  I couldn’t wait to get home and brake them out!!!

A bunch of wood from Habitat Restore for $9.00

Varies colors and types of paint.

Sticky letters on the wood!

Once the paint was dry, I peeled the letters off.  Hopefully I will be able to use the letters again.

Before antiquing glaze…

After antiquing glaze!  Not a huge difference but just enough to make it look a little old and worn!

Drilled some holes!  Yes, yes I did, all by myself!

Taking my signs and heading to Sanctuary of Davidson!

P.S.  Guess who got all A’s on their progress report!?!?!  Sometimes it’s so hard to get on that bus, but totally worth it.

Actually, I decided I did not need to spend the money. I realized after taking a look around that I already have some things I can craft on when I get a chance! I missed going…but I did save money – and that’s important too!

        See you!

The signs look great. I am still plowing through my stuff, and taking more to my booth, getting ready for the sidewalk sale, and if that doesn’t do it, my daughter and I may have a yard sale in November. This stuff has gotta go! Congrats to that sweet girl on all A’s.

I still can’t believe she made straight A’s. She is sooooooooo proud of herself!!!
I am cleaning out and clearing out. I didn’t think I would have a ton but I do!!! I feels so good to get rid of this stuff!
