    Hi Angela
That’s a cute idea. I just bought a thrifted light fixture for the front hall and was wondering how I might repurpose it but it has a hole in the bottom!
On my blog today I posted a photo of you and me from the becoming conference. Just wanted to let you know.

You are so fun to read! I love these repurposed items for they look like hmm well as what you are using them as!! A vase, a PB jewelry dish….displayed amongst flowers and the neatest lampshade ever!!! I hope it’s a paper with good news!! Like the page that shows your kids won the science fair, made honor roll, placed in 4-H Swine competition, you know, stuff like that…and you’ll never have to look for these important papers for you’ve made them into lampshades! Why didn’t I think of that when my kids oh ten years ago were getting little spots in local news?!! I’d never have had to look for the article! I’d love for you to say what you did. So the paper does not catch on fire…anyway, love the lampshade, plus the fun repurposing.
    Dear Lord
On this day of times when people hurry, give Miss Button time to have a moment to rest and enjoy Your presence as she serves You daily. Give her peace and joy and renewed strength for this day. This is the Day That You Lord have made. Let us rejoice! And be glad in it! Keep that in the forefront. Thank you for Miss Button. Amen

      Oh Gwen!
Do you know how much your comments brighten my day? Thank you so much for your kind words and for your prayers. They mean the world to me. Remind me again where you live!? Wouldn’t it be nice if we lived close to each other? I think I would very much enjoy being around you!

That is a great idea about the lampshade. The paper I used was just regular old book pages, nothing special! I just hot glued them on to the thrift store lampshade! No fires yet!!!!

lots and lots of love to you!
