This is my friend Tracie. I like her a lot. She wrote a book about forgiveness and I think you should read it.
This is her book, 31 Days of Forgiveness {through the eyes of grace}. I would love to give 31 Days of Forgiveness a beautifully written review, one it truly deserves, however words and writing are not my gifts. I will do my best and try to do this awesome book justice. This book is awesome (see I already used the word awesome twice in the first paragraph)!!
Honestly I started reading this book with the attitude, I don’t have anyone to forgive. I have been blessed with good people in my life. Not a lot bad has happened to me. Now people who have had a loved one killed by a drunk driver, a marriage broken by infidelity, or someone who has been abused, those are the people who are going to have to decide if they want to forgive or not. But what about bitterness, resentment, and anger? Yep unfortunately I can relate to those. Sometimes I tell a person I forgive them but inside I’m still holding on to that grudge. The grudge only hurts me. This book really opened my eyes and I learned a lot about forgiveness and myself.
If you want to lead a physically and spiritually healthier life this is a great book to read. If you want a deeper, stronger relationship with God, this is a great book to read. I will never look at forgiveness the same or take it so lightly.
