 Spring bags are here!  But what does that have to do with water!?!?

Do you remember my friend Courtney and her cool Live with Less t-shirts?  She is so amazing and has totally inspired me to get involved with Compassion’s Water of Life Program.

 Every day over 4,000 children are dying of water-related diseases such as cholera and typhoid that are easily preventable. Many more are suffering sickness, diarrhea and acute stomach pains – illnesses that stop children going to school and growing up into healthy adults.

  • Approximately 1.8 million children die each year as a result of diseases caused by unclean water and poor sanitation. This is around 5,000 deaths a day.
  • Water-related diseases are the second biggest killer of children worldwide.
  • Worldwide, approximately 425 million children under 18 do not have safe water.

So what does this have to do with spring bags!?!?!  Buy a Button Bird Designs bag today through March 1, and $10.00 from each bag purchased will be donated to Compassion’s Water of Life Program.

        Got my bag and necklace! Love both. Hope this was a successful giveaway/campaign to provide water! I went to Africa last year to drill water wells, so clean water is near and dear to my heart.
