Hi There! So happy you stopped by! Won’t you take a minute and like Button Bird Designs on face book? Right over there to the right?! Why thank you! Also sign up to receive these posts by email so you don’t miss out on any trash to treasure projects, easy do it yourself tutorials, or all the fun we are having up in here!!! xoxoxoxo Angela
When I was getting ready for the Big Sale, I cleaned out a lot of junk. I got rid of things I didn’t absolutely love and I got rid of things that I didn’t need. I also got rid of a lot of art work and freed up some cluttered walls. Why did I have two of the same peacock on one wall? One had to go.
I collect peacocks and was thrilled when I found both at a flea market. But with my new clean out the house and simplify attitude, I decided I just needed one. I was going to play with the other one. Nooooooo not in a dirty kind of way!!!
Spray paint’. Blue spray paint. I think that’s all I have.
Little bottles of different blue and green craft paint.
Remember these cut up doors from Metrolina!?
Fun little piece of Peacock art! If you are dying for some peacock art and don’t want to make any yourself, this one may just be for sale at Sanctuary of Davidson! wink wink.
Happy New Year!!! Hope your year is full of creative inspiration and lots and lots of artsy projects!

p.s. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, Metrolina Expo is taking place here in Charlotte. Metrolina is an antique/flea market with lots of junk, antiques, furniture, art, deals, and bargains. The most unique, one of a kind stuff you will find in one place!!! My favorite thing to do on a Saturday morning! Hope to see you there!
My name is Angela Statzer and I love to incorporate just about anything into my artwork. Ranging from recycled materials, vintage items, wood, jewelry, other people’s junk, buttons and fabric, my style is fun and diverse. You can find me smiling at any yard sale, thrift store or flea market. I am a momma to two amazing kids and wife to one hot husband.
