Hi There! Thanks for stopping by! Won’t you take a minute and like Button Bird Designs on face book? Right over there to the right?! Why thank you! Also sign up to receive these posts by email so you don’t miss out on any trash to treasure projects, easy do it yourself tutorials, or all the fun we are having up in here!!! xoxoxoxo Angela
If you didn’t get to come to the Big Sale no worries! I have lots of pictures!
The Nester and I were so excited about the Big Sale and had so much fun playing store!
This was early Friday morning at the clubhouse we rented for the sale.
This was early Saturday morning! Boy I still can NOT believe we had that much stuff. Yes we have issues and we are addressing them.
Pillows anyone?
Lordy this is ridiculous.
Button Bird Design products and the Nester Logs were also available.
The cooler then cool Reeve was there. Geeeeez I have never heard a voice like hers. Amazing.
The Nester’s mom Brenda was awesome! Making sandwiches, pouring lemonade and even helped pack up the car. I also loved Emily being there, she is such a hoot!
She was signing and selling her books. Grace for the Good Girl is one of my all time favorites.
Ohhhhhh Katherine and Tracie and
Karrie! Thank you for your help. We would have neverrrrrrr been able to do it with out you. You guys rock.
First ones in line almost 2 hours early! These are my kind of girls.
I could not believe how many people came out for the sale!!!!!!! I was totally nervous and started sweating, glad I was wearing black!!
Nester’s dad who also was a huggggggggggge help, gave away a prize for the one who came the furthest. Atlanta, GA was the winner!
Crazy Town!
Thanks to Nester we had a table of free gifts for those who signed up to sponsor a child though Compassion International.
The sale was awesome, I haven’t had that much fun in a while! I’m already trying to talk Nester into doing another one in the spring. Guess we’ll have to get our shopping on!!! I loved meeting lots of new people, hanging out with dear friends, playing store, and most importantly we were able to raise $500.00 for Compassion International.
If you were able to come, what did you think?!? Anything you would like to see more of? More furniture, more art, more home stuff!?! Let me know how we could improve the sale if we decide to do it again! wink wink!

My name is Angela Statzer and I love to incorporate just about anything into my artwork. Ranging from recycled materials, vintage items, wood, jewelry, other people’s junk, buttons and fabric, my style is fun and diverse. You can find me smiling at any yard sale, thrift store or flea market. I am a momma to two amazing kids and wife to one hot husband.

SO FUN!!!!!! LOVE your picks. Wish I could have been there!
Love you girls!
Thanks girl! I think you and Ashley should have a sale and I will be first in line for that one!!!

We came but unfortunately, the cute home stuff was snatched up by the first 20-30 people and since we were further back in line, we walked away empty handed
Some people got great deals – they had armloads of awesome stuff! I was super jealous. I just think you have to be one of the first 20 or so to really have a chance. Word to the wise – get there way early!
My only suggestion was about the venue… it was super small and cramped – maybe limit the people next time? As people leave, let others in? With the line to check out growing, it meant even less room to shop. It wasn’t too cold to stay outside for a bit longer if it meant getting to really see everything.
I loved that y’all were taking cards and not just cash, and the live music was a nice addition!
Hi Aimee!
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it! Yes next time we will get a much bigger place and all furniture and homegoods. The next one is going to be even bigger!!! Can’t wait!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Angela

Wow. You girls are amazing. I love that you would sell so much of your own stuff just so you could give the money away to other people. Although the many women who came, came to buy your stuff, they also came to be inspired and indeed that happened. Thanks for the example you’re setting when it comes to how we feel about our “stuff”. It’s a lot of fun to have but it doesn’t have to control us. Love you Nester and Angela.
ahhhh Courtney
It’s people like you that totally inspire me. I love you and I love what you are doing with your life. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
