A bird project!

It’s been hot hot hot here and I’m all for an indoor project that doesn’t include t.v. or the Wii. Ohhhh this is such a fun and super easy project to do with kiddos or with your best girlfriends!

RUNNNNNN, do not walk to Micheal’s and grab these sweet wood birds.  I think they were on sale for under $3.00.  You can also get the Micheal’s app, which every girl should have and score 40% off an item every time you go!

Grab some paint and let the kids paint away!

Add buttons for the eyes and fabric or paper for the wings.  Plug in your glue gun and ta da!!  What great Christmas gifts for the grandparents that the kids can create while it’s too hot to step foot outside.
What’s your favorite way to spend time inside during the hottest part of the summer?

Went to Michael's today and found the birdies. They were on sale, 60% off so were $1.19 each. I got all they had left. :-)
