I love to paint, refinish furniture, make jewelry, and knit, but my first love is sewing. I’ve had my sewing machine for almost 10 years now and can’t even imagine what I did before. A few years back a friend and I had a little bag making business. We made hundreds of all sorts of bags and sold them at fairs, home parties, on the street corner, etc. We had lots of fun until one day I realized that I had made one too many bags. I couldn’t even look at a bag pattern for a couple of years. However a week ago, a friend asked me to make a bag for her and her sister. I said sure and blew the dust off my old patterns. I can’t tell you how much fun I had making the bags for her. So much fun that the next day I wanted to make one for myself and one for 32 Flavors Boutique.

I found this pillow case at Salvation Army.
A couple of hours later……my new spring bag!!
Of course making 2 bags turned into making 11 bags so now I have a lot of extra bags laying around!! I thought I would try to sell some here and at the 32 Flavors Boutique and also have a give away!

My name is Angela Statzer and I love to incorporate just about anything into my artwork.
