When my buddies Nester and Reeve announced that they were going to host a crafting day once a month, I was beyond excited. I sent in my RSVP the second I read the email. YESSSS I would be there! I am actually a little embarrassed to tell you what I got out of in order to be at the first meeting! So I will keep that to myself!
We just had our first crafting day and our project was making Doily bowls! The crafting group was a mix of women that I knew and women that I had never met before. We met at Nester’s house, so of course I had to sneak some pictures of her house in all decorated for Christmas along with the how tos!

| 1. Grab a doily. If you don’t have one, you can find them at any thrift store or antique store. One of these was actually from the Dollar Tree! Can you tell which one!?!? |
| 2. You will need a bowl, the size depends on your doily and what you want the end product to look like. 3. Cover your bowl with clear plastic wrap. |
| 4. Pour your Stiffy Fabric Stiffner into a bowl. You can find it at Hobby Lobby or Michael’s. I wonder if regular Elmer’s glue would work!?! |
| 5. Drown your doily in a bowl of Stiffy and then squeeze out the excess. 6. Drape Doily over your bowl. We will miss you sweet Caroline. |
