I was invited to a birthday party this evening. I don’t really go out much, more of a home body than anything. But I thought this would be fun and the husband and I could use a date! I always carry enormous bags. I wanted a little clutch that I could just tuck under my arm instead of carrying my monstrous mommy bag. If you can turn a sewing machine on and sew a straight line you can make these fun little clutches in under 20 minutes.

| Find two pieces of coordinating fabrics and one piece of interface. Interface is what gives the bag structure and weight. You can find interfacing at any fabric store. Felt or fleece can also be used as interfacing. You can make your clutch any size that you want, I cut all three pieces 9.5 inches by 15 inches |

| Right sides together. |

| Interfacing on top. |

| I pulled the very hair band out of my hair and stuck in between the two right sides. This will be the loop for the closure. |
|
| Sew all the way around leaving a three inch hole on the side. |
|
| Cut excess fabric around and turn right side out. |
|
| Iron |
|
| Fold bottom up as far as you want and sew the sides. |
|
| Iron the flap down. |
|
| Embellish and grab a snack. Be careful that you don’t get lost in your thoughts and eat a button instead of a chip. Hmmmmm who could have done that??? |
