| This cross collection is displayed by our back door leading to the garage. An unexpected pop of color! |
|
|
| Whenever we visit one of those paint your own pottery places, Lilly and I almost always grab a cross! |
|
|
| This is the most special cross we have in the collection. My husband picked it up while on a mission trip to Mexico. |
|
|
| We scored this cross at a yard sale for a quarter!! |
My name is Angela Statzer and I love to incorporate just about anything into my artwork. Ranging from recycled materials, vintage items, wood, jewelry, other people’s junk, buttons and fabric, my style is fun and diverse. You can find me smiling at any yard sale, thrift store or flea market. I am a momma to two amazing kids and wife to one hot husband.

I am sooo glad I found your blog! I love it (: you have inspired me! (you and the nester) I'm getting married Jan 6, 2012 (: we just bought a little trailer (gotta start somewhere) and are now in the process of fixing it up. I love all the cute inexpensive treasures you find at yard sales (: I can not wait til this Saturday to roll around!

This is probably the best collection I have ever seen. My favorite is also the one you made from the two pieces of wood.
Do you mind if I use the concept for and angel painting?
Hi Tammy!!
I am loving my chalk paint! Once school is in i am going to be painting everything with that stuff. I might just paint my house!!! Of course you can use the concept!!!!!!! I just loveeeeeeeee your angels. You are amazing!

Love your crosses. I just found your blog through Cozy Little House.
Love it!!
Angela – what price range do you usually like to spend on your buttons. If I find any I can send them your way (:
The button cross is a really great idea, but it's the cubbie shelf full of goodies that made me drool. xx
ps – I collect sea glass, toucans, English threepenny pieces, hearts and spotty things.
Hi, welcome to the Cozy Little House neighborhood! Your cross collection is awesome, and my fave is the last you showed, made from two pieces of wood, painted and decorated with buttons and wire. I'm so glad to meet you and look forward to reading more posts!
Hugs,
Mary

You are so sweet! I was just kidding!!!! you don't have to look for buttons for me! However if you do find a really good deal (few bucks) I will totally pay you back!
Thanks girl
Angela
Your 25 cent cross is my favorite. And I'm proud to say I have seen most of those crosses up close and personal! You are doing such a great job with this amazing, inspirational blog, my friend. Such a joy to follow what you are doing….you know, in a legal way and without binoculars like I used to.
I love your cross collection! I was trying to think if there is anything that I really collect, and coming up blank until I read the comment about sea glass. I collect that too, anytime I am at the beach. I haven't really come up with a pretty way to display it yet, though. You have inspired me, though, and I hope to do some garage saling to look for pretty glass jars or something else to put the glass in.
